The process

How a clean and seal works

STEP 1: CLEANPressure wash

Reliable cleaning products and high pressure washing lift mold and mildew, rust, oil, fertilizer stains, weeds, old sand and even tire marks from the surface and the joints.

STEP 2: SANDSilica sand

Paver joints are refilled with silica sand and locked in by the sealer, which stabilizes the joints against shifting and helps prevent weed growth. Standard silica sand is included with every job, with the option to upgrade to colored sands like pearl, platinum, tan or black.

STEP 3: SEALYour finish, your call

We cater the finish to you: gloss, semi gloss or matte, enhancing or natural. A low pressure spray system applies the sealer, and surfaces that have never been sealed may take additional coats.

Pick your sealer finish: wet look or natural matte

Enhancing (wet look)Deepened color with a gloss or semi gloss sheen. The most popular choice on driveways and front walks

Non-enhancing (natural)Full protection without changing the color. The usual choice for pool decks and travertine. Matte finishes come enhancing or natural

Paver Repair

Why hire the installer, not just a pressure washer

Most sealing companies in this area wash and spray. We install pavers for a living, and it changes how the job gets done.

We repair before we seal. Sunken spots get re-leveled and broken pavers replaced first, so you are not sealing over a problem
We never skip the re-sand. Joint sand is what locks the surface together. Washing it out and sealing without replacing it is the most common shortcut in this market
We know the paver under the sealer. Concrete, travertine and shellstone each take a different product. We install all three, so we seal all three correctly
We fix drainage while we are there. Standing water ruins sealer and base alike. If water sits on your surface, we solve that first
We keep your records. Florida puts pavers on a 2 to 3 year cycle. We track when yours is due so you do not have to

★★★★★Google review

“Before the work I had several inches of water that would not drain properly during heavy rain. Now there is no water at all. The paver repair was equally impressive. The areas that had significant settling are now level, secure and visually seamless with the surrounding pavers.”

Common questions

Sealing questions

If your question is not here, call us and we will answer it.

What is paver sealing and what are the benefits?

Sealing puts a protective coat over the pavers so the sun and humidity work on the sealer instead of the surface. It slows color loss, adds years to the life of a driveway or pool deck, and keeps the surface low maintenance: most sealers resist stains from spills and landscaping materials, and the protection from humidity impedes mold and algae. Joint stabilizing sand hardens between the pavers to hinder weeds and shifting, and finishes range from matte and satin to wet look, semi gloss and high gloss.

How often should pavers be sealed in Florida?

Every 2 to 3 years. Sun fades the pigment and summer rain feeds the mold. Resealing on schedule keeps both away and costs less than restoring a neglected surface.

What does paver sealing cost?

It is priced by square footage and condition. A maintained surface costs less to reseal than a neglected one. Our cost guide explains what moves the number, and we give a written quote after a quick visit or from photos. Estimates are free.

How long does sealing take?

It is a two day process. One day for washing, and one day for sealing once the pavers have dried sufficiently. Sanding happens during the wash or right before sealing.

How soon can we walk or drive on it?

Foot traffic and furniture after 24 hours, vehicles after 48 hours. We confirm timing on the day of the job.

What is the difference between water based and solvent based sealers?

Both protect well, and neither is best across the board. Water based sealers are easier on the environment, have less odor and do better against chemicals. Solvent based sealers deliver a more intense gloss. Each performs better at opposite ends of the temperature range, so we match the product to your surface and finish.

How long does sealer last here?

Two to three years in Florida sun and rain. Wet look finishes show their age a little sooner than matte. When the color goes flat and water stops beading, it is time.
